Vocational field

The model manufacturer profession is becoming more complex every year. Our trained model manufacturers are working in fields that are becoming increasingly related, such as machine, gauge and fixture manufacturing, as well as synthetic, mould and tool manufacturing.

Requirement

Experience with computers, CAD/CAM and design is a fundamental part of our model, mould and tool manufacturing business.

Training

We attach high importance to training, and so one to four trainees are taken on by our company every year. You can demonstrate your suitability for the profession of model manufacturer or precision mechanic by taking part in a work placement. Most of our trainees have finished secondary school education with a technical or natural sciences specialisation, or have a good secondary modern school leaving certificate.

Related professions

We currently have a few experts from related professions working with us, such as toolmakers and cutting machine operators, who we have taken on over time due to capacity bottlenecks. So there is also a way to gain a foothold with us this way.
